The staff is the set of horizontal lines inside each measure. These staff lines make it possible to put music on paper by telling the action we must take and the amount of time to use to take each action. Tablature in the language we use to write the time and the action for every measure of banjo Music.
Tablature places symbols on the staff lines. These symbols tell us what to do and where to do it to create the music we want to play.
Several measures of staff are called a Musical Score. Always read musical score from Left ---->to Right.
